33 Years

You died to young they said
You didn’t get a chance to live
Still in your prime at 33
Still so much you could give

But a quick reflection teaches us
Gives us an opportunity to see the light
Although you were but 33
You left us an amazing birthright

An inheritance that’s so glorious
A chance to live with the risen king
You taught, you healed, and suffered for us
So that we could arise from any thing

I often wonder from time to time
How deep does your splendor go?
How incredible is you love?
I think we’ll never know

33 years of your life
You’ve accomplished more than us all
Your works so perfect in every way
Your presence available at a call

Son of God, I stand in awe
Oh the beauty of your face
33 years of your life is priceless
It’s something that none can replace
