Your Presence


Blissfully I acknowledge your presence
As if my lover has come to call
The effervescence of your beauty
Radiates upon your face
Lovers we will never be
But friends through the test of time
Your peace does exude you
Your power like radiant beams
To be called Saviour, doesn’t seem to do you justice
For there are no words that can be described
Father, counselor, provider, friend
Among the names that describe you best
How amazing is your love
How overwhelming is your touch
Able to do all things at your desire
Remarkable in your ways
You are everything, my everything
Your splendor does beseech me
Our relationship I cannot replace
You truly are the Almighty God
And even still that title seems minute in your presence
