“The Inner Purity within”

“The Inner Purity within”



The Inner Purity tells us so much but we still know so little (well, some of us). Or even when we know about inner purity, how often we just forget about it..? What is inner purity? How is our inner purity now days? Is it solid, or rather to ask, is it needs it to be solid? I recall a person once explained to me a few things around inner purity hence he never used those words but he did said the following…:



“What you say, is who you are”

“Your action reveals your personality”

“What you think is what you will do”



Hmm…I don’t think these words relate to wisdom but they are still true.



Just imagine about those thoughts or even words, which has came out of our mouths in the past for which we were not exactly proud of but at least we had rebuked those words. But when we didn’t? Scars and wounds have remained. For me and for you... And so as our “Inner Purity” was gone out the window in a flash.



“The Inner Purity within”



Reading through in my quiet time just the other day on the Gospel of Matthew chapter 15 verse 10-11, where Jesus has thought His disciples and the crowed about Inner Purity.



He Said:

Then Jesus called to the crowd to come and hear. “Listen,” he said, “and try to understand. It’s not what goes into your mouth that defiles you; you are defiled by the words that come out of your mouth.” (NLT)



Beautiful and full of Wisdom! And there is a strong lesson within this, well, at least for me but maybe for you too.



The truth of this lesson?



Is that God Loves us so much, that He Fully Equipped you and me with Inner Purity but it’s depends on us how we going to use it. Either we can remain and be the same as the Pharisees and teachers within the above chapter, speaking of inner purity but not living it, or we just choose to live through with our inner purity. For Him!
