Good Morning Dear Friend,

“Your Fruit within”

When things are not exactly pending out as they should or you may feel a bit worn out from all the trials but without tribulation, than as always, a Great Reminder from the Greatest Reminder could always be handy.

We can find our selves every now and again in tight spots, either financially or perhaps with challenges within our work environments, social, family, marriage etc…But of course a believer should know that trials will happen all the time in our lives with the result of tribulation. Yes, but even us, as believers are made out of flesh and we do sometimes “complain” to God (well, I do) and say, “Lord, this is enough now. I can’t take another trial without any positive results anymore, Lord I am tired of this. And I think Lord, your “perfect timing” does have an expiry date as well, so come on! Come to the party or let’s just leave each other alone!”

You may say, this is a bit harsh to complain like this but also we need to accept the fact that we did not designed our hearts and feelings. He Did! But than why should we try to hide our feelings, right? Whom do we try to fool here? Trust me the only fool it would be us if we try to hide our feelings, hence God would know it in any case, because He Is God.

And while I had a series of “challenges” in my way recently, I continued “complaining” for a while till a verse came up in my quiet time. Mark chapter 4 verse 15-20.

The seed that fell on the footpath represents those who hear the message, only to have Satan come at once and take it away. The seed on the rocky soil represents those who hear the message and immediately receive it with joy. But since they don’t have deep roots, they don’t last long. They fall away as soon as they have problems or are persecuted for believing God’s word. The seed that fell among the thorns represents others who hear God’s word, but all too quickly the message is crowded out by the worries of this life, the lure of wealth, and the desire for other things, so no fruit is produced. And the seed that fell on good soil represents those who hear and accept God’s word and produce a harvest of thirty, sixty, or even a hundred times as much as had been planted!”

We need this reminder to know which seed (or use the word faith) are we right now and which one we need to be…you see, while I was complaining in my quiet time, God Responded back with a question…and He Asked:

“My Boy, what fruit will you ever bare for me if you remain just complaining?”

And this is so true. Take your eyes of from Jesus and see what’s happen. There will be no fruit. What fruit(s) you might ask? Love, peace, joy, patience, faithfulness, kindness, gentleness, self control and goodness. Can you find “your fruit within” these?
