When I gaze into the mirror
The only thing I see,
Are the blemishes and filthy rags
Lookin’ back at me.
Then I turn my face away
And fall down on my knees,
I cry out to Jesus
More of You, less of me.
More of You, less of me
Jesus come and change me,
Oh, that’s how its gotta be.
For when others look at me
Just what exactly do they see,
Do they see more of You
Or do they see more of me?
More of You, less of me
Jesus won’t You change me?
Please, that’s how it’s gotta be.
So when I look back in that mirror
The only thing I’ll see,
Is your lovely face and glory
Starin’ back at me.
Then I’ll know without a doubt
There’s more of You, less of me.
