TENTACLES, SON, TENTACLES!

I have always believed that parents should teach children about sex according to their age and maturity level instead of letting them learn it on the streets or from the media. In order to teach them that their bodies are not bad and dirty and that there are appropriate terms for each part instead of obscene ones, I taught them the scientific names.

I really didn’t think any of it sank into my children’s minds but a few weeks after this science lesson, we were at the grocery store when I noticed my children being drawn to a see-through container of live lobsters. They were pointing at their tentacles when suddenly my son yells, “MOMMY, LOOK AT HIS TESTICLES!!!!!”

I quickly pushed my cart and rounded the corner as I corrected, "Tentacles, Son, tentacles!"
