GOD ISN'T WEAL!


We had been teaching my youngest about God and how He was definitely real. We told her that God is like the wind. Although you can't see it, you can feel it and hear it. We told her to look at her hands and feet, nature, and all those things that man cannot make. "So God is weally weal, huh?" she asked in her little preschool voice.

Several weeks had passed and I had forgotten about the conversation. We were at a friend's house and the kids were outside riding around in a large battery-operated jeep. Suddenly, my daughter runs in with a big pout, eyebrows welded together in anger, and arms crossed. This was one mad child! "God, isn't weal!" she yelled.

My friend asked her why she said that and with arms still crossed and lips in a pout that would cause her to trip over them if she wasn't careful, "Because the jeep died and I pwayed that it would start and it didn't so GOD ISN'T WEAL!"

My friend quickly jumped up and whispered, "I'd better go charge the battery so God can be real again."
