(Take a sip, thinking
of a bottle of sugary
root beer.)

(Sip some more soda
water.)
(Grimmace.)
(Look at the big
0-Calorie sign,
on the bottle.)
(Shrug.)
(Burp.)
"Well......"
(Sigh.)

(Fold arms.)
(Lean back,
against the kitchen chair.)
"I don't LIKE
all this STUFF,
about the PHARISEES!
(Stare up at ceiling fan.)

[CALM, ALL-KNOWING

[GAZE AT THE WESTERN
SLOPE OF A SAND DUNE,
ON MARS.]
