He saw a land where compassion, mercy and justice would prevail...a land where the poor, the needy and the vulnerable would be safe. He envisioned a land of peace, kindness and moral strength. He saw people who would appreciate the cost of freedom and who were wary of evil people and evil organizations. God saw a generous people who would spread liberty, truth and goodness - and share the blessings of prosperity with the poorer nations.

Jehovah saw no bloodshed between the Indians and the white men – the Christian newcomers were honest and respectful of the original inhabitants. They found peaceful solutions and grew into a great nation together. There was no Civil War, because there was no slavery. Christian preachers clearly showed that we should love our neighbor as ourselves. This caused a spirit of meekness and humbleness for the Christians, and the evil of slavery never got a foothold in the New World.

There were civil and gender rights throughout the land, because Christian preachers effectively preached the marvelous love of Calvary. Members preferred one another in love. The denominations actually based their teachings on the principles of the New Testament, rather than following the traditions and customs of “Christian” society so-called.

There was no welfare, because the denominations co-operated together to make a work-fair system for the needy and disabled. The churches really did “love their neighbor” and all of society. The denominations were extended “families” where respect and unselfishness was a way of life. Believers often shared all things, as in New Testament days.

The denominations knew that Jesus came to bring life and to bring it abundantly - the churches recognized that God is Pro-life, not just for babies but for all stages of a person’s life. So when teenagers in the inner city needed funding for their activities, once again the churches cared. The Most High saw addicts delivered from the bondage of alcohol, drugs, food and sex – evil was no match for holiness. And goodness was prevalent throughout the land, the land that had a heart of compassion and caring.

Spiritual people remembered that pride, lying lips, scorn, unjust people, dishonest scales and perverse people are also abominations to God - not just homosexuals. So Christian preachers also addressed adultery, incest and sexual abuse - things that were more likely happening in their own Christian community, than a gay lifestyle.

God saw a land where the unselfish love of Calvary was exalted and lived throughout the churches of the country. He saw congregations lead by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit, spreading the “good news” of a risen, victorious Savior. He saw the unconditional love of heaven reflected in the believers of the different denominations. There was no rivalry between churches or denominations, because believers discerned Christ in every brother or sister.

God saw all this and “it was very good.”
