my child,

power, or fame.

Only we can determine the value of character.

The power of goodness, the treasure of honesty,
the force of an upright character is a priceless treasure indeed.
The one gift I would wish for you, my child,
is a character reflecting the glory and the goodness,
the nobleness,
of God.
