We all suffer disappointments in life. It doesn't matter what form it takes; it hurts when your expectations aren't met. Whether it's the promotion you were denied, the friendship that fizzled, or the deal that didn't go through, sometimes things don't go as planned. It always leaves a hole in your life, and it's awkward when you're left to deal with the fractured pieces of reality.

Life isn't perfect and we're going to be disappointed every now and then. Sometimes situations disappoint us. Sometimes people disappoint us. It's natural to mourn the loss of things that are important to you, whether in reality or in potential.

The good news is that Christ is always there. There's nothing in this world that can separate you from Him. He will never let you down and will always be there; a rock solid foundation you can always count on.

Sometimes things don't work out because the Lord has something better in store. Sometimes things don't work out because they would be more of a curse than a blessing, and we don't realize it. Trust that the Lord is looking out for your best interests and will bring you to a great future. After all, He's the only one that can never let you down!
