Lasting Concord
Keep Your Seal

The salt and peppers of life, how sugar sweeten it up and if it get mixed up wrong one can be affected for a life time. Why salt, pepper, and sugar? If one is salted by the Word of God and peppered up with the right mixture of the Holy Ghost and the Word, it will produce sugar in your life and make all things sweet rather they seem good or bad. The peace that comes with knowing you have been sealed with the promise of the Holy Ghost makes life sweeter than the milk in a honey comb. This promise came to God’s people through the redemptive work of his Son forever as God had commanded his covenant for ever; holy and reverend is his name. Israel was to hope in the Lord, for the Lord had mercy and plenty of redemptive grace, for he gave His life a ransom for many. He came not to be ministered to but to minister. It is through his redemptive work that we are justified freely by His grace. God set Jesus forth to be a propitiation through faith in His blood, to declare his righteousness; that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believed in Him. It is of Him that we are in Christ Jesus who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption. This is why we are brought with a price. Jesus gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God our Father.

Etymologically the term, being derived from the Latin, redimere, to buy back, or repurchase. It means that He have ownership and consequently legitimate possession. Therefore we have been sealed by God’s promise not to destroy his creation, but given the chance of restoration through regeneration at the second coming of Christ through new birth through the Holy Spirit. This means that we have been washed thoroughly from our iniquities and cleansed from sin. After we have been purged and cleaned, washed, that Jesus affords us the opportunity to remain renewed with a right spirit within, no longer captive or rebellious in our evil doings when we have cast away our transgressions. This is the process where there is no difference between us and those that which to remain disobedient. Our hearts is purified through faith, our eyes is opened and we turn away from darkness to light, from the power of Satan unto God that we may receive forgiveness of sin and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in Christ Jesus.

Oh yes this is our lasting concord with Him, Romans 12:2, be no conformed to this world; but being transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. If we are in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption then we should learn to keep our seal and lasting concord which is according to 2 Corinthians 5:18-20, that we have gone through God’s process and have remained in our first state of sanctification and not deviated from the truth of reconciliation, now we are ambassadors for Christ. Saved to reach a dying world, not dying in the sin we are called with authority to cast out. This is serious, Jesus our savior saved mankind from evil, danger, diseases, destruction and Hell and we must maintain our salvation. Jesus preserves and keeps us, gives us strength and wisdom in the time of need, but the race is not one that you start and stop, but one that endures to the end. Matthew 24:12-13, and because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. Be not deceived, Memorial Day is coming, what will you be remembered for?

The witness of the century confirms the power of the risen Christ that lives in the hearts of men today by their obedience and worship of Jesus as Lord and Savior; exercised in lives.

Matthew 5:13& 16, you are the salt of the earth, but if the salt has lost his savour wherewith shall it be salted? It is thenceforth good for nothing but to be cast out and to be trodden under foot of men. Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works, and glorify your father which is in heaven.

Mark 9:49-50, for everyone shall be salted with fire, and every sacrifice shall be salted with salt. Salt is good: but if the salt has lost his saltiness wherewith will you season it? Have salt in yourselves, and have peace one with another.

A wise man fear and depart from evil: but the fool rage and is confident in his own way. But the Bible says woe to them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight! In vain is salvation hoped for from the hills and from the multitude of mountains because they hold their salvation in things rather than God, who created everything made. Because man will trust in lying words that cannot profit him they will say unto everyone that walk after the imagination of his own heart, no evil shall come upon you. They are confident and proud and the pride of their heart has deceived them into thinking that they cannot be brought to reality by any means.
Salt is a dietary mineral composed primarily of sodium chloride that is essential for animal life, toxic to most land plants, and is consumed by man in different forms.

Mostly humans consume salt as refined salt, table salt and iodized salt. Chloride and sodium ions are to two main components of salt and are necessary for the survival of all known living creatures. Salt is involved in regulating the water content, fluid balance of the body. Salt cravings may be caused by trace mineral deficiencies as well as by a deficiency of sodium chloride itself. Over consumption of salt increases the risk of health problems, including high blood pressure.

Salt is used in food as a season and in earlier years as a sacrifice sprinkled, saline was used and preserved whatever it was used for.
According to Strong’s Concordance, there are forty-one verses in the Bible which references salt in the English translation of the King James Bible, the earliest being the story of Lot’s wife, who was turned into a pillar of salt when she disobediently looked back at the wicked cities of Sodom in Genesis 19:26. When King Abimelech destroy the city of Shechem he is said to have “sowed salt on it,” expressing the completeness of its ruin in Judges 9:45. In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus referred to his followers as the “salt of the earth”. The Apostle Paul also encouraged Christians to “let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt” in Colossians 4:6.

Different natural salts have different minerals, giving each one a unique flavor. Unrefined sea salt is healthier than refined salts. They are used as an ingredient in bathing additives and cosmetic products. In bath salts they are combined to produce healing and therapeutic effects. Sodium is one of the primary electrolytes in the body, along with potassium, magnesium, and calcium. Too much or too little salt in the diet can lead to muscle cramps, dizziness or even an electrolyte disturbance which can cause severe even fatal, neurological problems. Drinking too much water, with insufficient salt intake, puts a person at risk of water intoxication, hyponatremia. Salt is even sometimes used as a health aid, such as treatment of dysautonomia. The risk for disease due to insufficient or excessive salt intake varies because of biochemical individuality.

On the spiritual side of life, when one has lost their savour they have been rendered void, deprived of the Holy Spirit living in you, lost the authority that was given you by Jesus and your effectiveness to effect change in the world is disnulled. Don’t allow Satan to break your seal of preservation in Christ. Salt is used freely, it does not violate one’s will and neither does God, we come to Him of free will. We are moved by the Spirit flowing unhindered when we stay in God’s will, keep a steady application to His Word, continuous in worship and fellowship so to the point that he can be tasted, but you cannot tell where he is.

Also salt food is sacrificially sprinkled like saline is used to fertilize arable land. This is a symbol of the lasting concord, it protects and preserves. The solemn ratification of compacts, the Orientals were and are to this day accustomed to partake of salt together, why Christians not be Christ like enough long enough to realize that when they come together in one accord with one mind in one place to get a work done, things happen. Wisdom and grace is exhibited in their speech and they acquire that God given anointing just as on the day of Pentecost.

Pepper on the other hand attaches itself to the wall of the inside of the body. It is a flowering vine in the family piperaceae, cultivated for its fruit, which is usually dried and used as a spice and seasoning. The fruit, known as peppercorn when dried, is a small drupe five millimeters in diameter, dark red when fully mature, containing a single seed. Peppercorns, and the powdered pepper derived from grinding them, may be described as black pepper, white pepper, red/pink pepper, green pepper, and very often simply pepper. Whatever kinds of pepper it is; it leaves a lasting concord in the taste buds of whoever eats it just as salt does.

Pepper has such a variety of colors; though it still is pepper and is created to be pepper. If we the saved, called, anointed and appointed of God will stay in our lanes we are called to we will season properly the lost and fulfill the call of discipleship. The Holy Ghost will teach, lead, and guide us in all truths where we may fire up the people of God that they may become Disciples of Christ also and stay the course. Pepper may also be used as a medicine, and we are called to heal the sick, the brokenhearted, give sight to the blind and so on during the work of the Father just as Jesus did only we should do greater works.
