We all know the song "This little light of mine." That song was taught to us all by an young age. I imagine that us being kids did not know the true meaning of that song. Now we can look back on our childhood days and truly live that song. We can live it in front of the youth so the whole world light can shine.

Through electricity lights turn on and if we do not pay our bills, the lights will turn off. I believe everyone will agree that lights will help you see in darkness. So, we all can agree that the job for lights is to light up an area.

Well, my family it's more to lights. It makes me think about an old saying "time will bring about a change." It surely will, a change of thoughts and of lifestyles.

Today I can share with you that "we are lights." Just like lights turn on and off so do we. Through Christ our lights will never go off. Yes, so that means that we are like Motel 6 "we'll leave the lights on for you. Our lights stay burning by getting intimate with God.

Knowing that our lights will turn off if we do not pay our "spiritual bills." It is our job to let our light shine and to bring others out of darkness. That is what Jesus did for us, and I thank God for it. Too many of us takes things for granted.

It is a blessing to be a blessing to others. It does not matter if it's through finances, gifts, encouragement, or prayers it is still a blessing.

So I am asking you to continue to let your let shine for Jesus. Let your light shine so others can see and you will eventually be able to bring them out of darkness.

Sometimes when we go through things, we are going through them for someone else as well.

This little light of mine, Im going to let it shine. Are you?

I like the idea of "spiritual bills" that we must pay and let our light shine for Jesus. As Christians it is our duty.

The line >>our lights will turn off if we do not pay our "spiritual bills."<< was brilliant.

An excellent reminder to let our lights shine.A good comparison of financial debts and spiritul debts. Keep up the good work.

Hi Danielle. As some of the others have said, that line about not paying our spiritual bills was a first rate one. Good connection.

This was definitely bang on target for the theme for this challenge and a good message, but it really does need a bit of editing. I'm not sure if you have a friend with good English/grammar skills, who may be able to help you before you post.

There are quite a lot of little things, like the second sentence, "That song was taught to us all at AN young age". That "an" should be an "a".

In the last sentence of that paragraph, the word "world" needs to be "world's".

In the third paragraph the sentence, "Well, my family it's more to lights" doesn't quite make sense.

These are just a few of the things that I noticed when reading, which could definitely be caught by someone editing it before posting.

Most importantly - keep writing Danielle. I know from an article you've posted since this one, you really are growing and developing your skill, so just keep letting your light shine as you share your faith through your words. With love, Deb

had some good points here
yes we should get intimate with God, and we go thought things sometimes for others,
and then the way you wrap this up with the question. Very good.
you took a little song and made it very useful, and explain the meaning to those that doesn't understand.
I did enjoy it.
GOD BLESS>

Nice article. I still love that song. You might want to check for incomplete sentences, I got lost at a couple points.
