I resolve to make a change, and I refuse to wait
To begin on a special date,
But I will begin this very day
To make a change in the way
I perceive and view others;
And how I think about my sisters and brothers.
My resolution is to allow a change to begin in me
So that others may be able to see
That there is still good in this cruel world,
And there's hope for love in the future for our boys and girls.
I don't want to criticize,
But I desire to sympathize.
I don't want to put down on those whom I call my friend,
But when they fall, I want to help raise them up again.
Yes, my resolution is to be more like Christ in spirit and in truth,
By approaching situations with the question: "What would Jesus do?"

What an awesome resolution. If we spent more time encouraging and exhorting, the Body of Christ would be so much stronger. Nice job.

A very noble resolution and expressed in a good poem. May God bless you and help you keep your resolution!
