even when we would rather not have Him.
Especially when we wander off,
after all His Son, Jesus has brought.
From His Spirit flows Living Waters,
reaching out to us when we falter.
With this, our attitudes will change,
knowing He will remain the same.
His depth of compassion for us,
displayed a picture of Jesus.
Keeping us from worldly deception,
where we would soon lose His perception.
While He’s keeping us on the right track,
He’s guiding us to the right path.
Our Shepherd loves us all the same.
and He knows us by our unique names.
The name that’s given to us at birth,
determined before we knew our worth.
Before we knew Jesus, our Savior,
we were lost in worldly behavior.
Why He chose us cannot fathomed.
we just know He closed the chasm.
A sinful chasm kept us away,
but yet all of our sin was displayed.
Nailed to the cross for all to see,
as His believers we’ve been set free!
As our Shepherd, to Him we belong,
even when we know we are wrong.
When the world pulls you away,
Jesus will guide you every day.
When He has brought out all his own,
he goes on ahead of them, and his
Sheep follow him because they know
his voice.
John 10:4 (NKJV)
