as I wander through my mind?
I am a lowly sinner
to me will You be kind?
All my yesterdays Lord
lay scattered cross the ground.
I searched to world over
nowhere can You be found.
The sins T have dog me
they will not let me go.
Lift this burden from me
because I love You so.
The dogs scratch at my door
they never let me sleep.
when I lie my head down
I pray my soul You'll keep.
Thank you blessed Jesus
for bearing all my sin.
Freedom that You gave me
You're helping me to win.
Come into my heart now
teach me what I should know.
And when I leave this earth
to heaven I will go.
As I wonder aimless
Lord, please show me the way.
Speak to me so softly.
and teach me what to say.
Father, can you hear me
as I wander through my mind?
I am a lowly sinner
to me will You be kind?
