Topic: birthday (05/23/05)
We can hear the sweet music " Happy birthday to you.." on the birthday celebrations. But man forgot to know that he is nearing his death, and stepping towards the end of his life. Imagine if a person has his life upto seventy years, and celebrates his Golden Jubilee of his age, it is nothing but eating Asparagus and welcoming the day of death.

Do you know why the Dolly ( The first cloned sheep ) died at an early age? It got cloned from an aged cell. Hence it could live only the remaining part of life which it has inherited from the parent sheep. This conveys us that each and every living being has its life span upto a specified time. Nobody can bypass the day of death.

Without knowing these facts, people are celebrating in a very grand way, distributing seeets, cakes, giving treat to their friends etc is all waste of money and show off.

We can see a person called Hezekiah in the Bible. Prophet Isaiah came to Hezekiah and Prophecies that he will certainly die. Hezekiah cried unto God, and said, " God, remember my deeds, which I have done for you and extend my life ". God heard his cries and extended his life to fifteen years.

The above context tells that, we cannot escape from death. Hezekiah cried unto God, and God extends his life, but not to live forever.

Even Jesus Christ was born on the earth as a man and died. He too obyed His own ' Rule '. There are many differences between Him and us. But I will quote some of them which are relevent to the topic.He died but risen from dead. Where man cannot perform this wonder. Jesus Christ died for all of us in this world. But no man died for any body. Some man have sacrificed his life for his loved one. But not for the whole world.

Instead of celebrating the birthday, let us think on every birthday " What we have achieved in past year? " The probability of the answer is ' yes ' or ' no '. If the answer is " yes ", let us continue to achieve some more under the bounded life span. If the answer is " no ", let us try to achieve something. God has given the talent to each and every person in the world. If the person recongises his talent will achieve, one who doesnt will not achieve.

My dear reader, if it is difficult to identify the hidden talent in you, then you no need to bother about the achievement in your life. Give everything ( Mind, Body and Soul ) to Jesus. He will make you to agnize the talent hidden in you. And your talent will come into light.

You may have lost many of your birthdays in your life, but utilize the coming bithday to think of yourself!!

I really appreciate the views of the writer. Though at times it sounds a bit pessimistic but it's really worth reading

Your idea for this challenge is original and challenging. To get people to read it, however, you must, please, edit it carefully. There are way too many spelling and grammatical errors. Don't let your unique talent go to waste by using it sloppily or assuming that the reader will be accepting and forgiving because you are a Christian.
