were thought of long ago.
Those that are remembered,
have brought a lot of woe.
Jesus has redeemed us,
from those days long gone.
Bringing us closer to Him,
with His embrace so strong.
He replaces our brokenness,
with His supernal joy.
If we will think upon those things,
our hearts He will employ.
Bringing what once was,
into the present time.
Our memories will forever be,
grateful and sublime.
Teach us how to praise You Lord,
especially when things seem bad.
Knowing more of Your heart,
and memories that we’ve had.
Pursue us with Your might, oh Lord,
no matter how near or far.
With Your goal in mind,
which are as many as the stars.
Remembering all the days gone past,
no longer will I be weary.
My soul feeds on Your Living Word,
as my soul is enthralled by Your memories.
Joyful memories of days gone past,
seeing Your wonders in our lives.
Knowing that my faith in God,
has replaced all my strife!
For I acknowledge my transgressions,
And my sin is always before me.
Psalms 51:3 NKJV

Although I didn't quite follow the beat you set at the end.
Reference to: All our past forgiven.
Then: My sin is ever before me.
OT and NT perhaps?
Anyway it is remembering, that's a certainty.
