The Lord calls us to fulfill a great assignment in His strength and the talents only He can give. Yet along the way and through the business, we have lost sight of the One who called us. Our ministry has turned into a career, something we are good at doing, at best, on our own. Our good or best is nothing in comparison to how many souls we can win when we keep Christ as our focus and follow the leading of the Holy Spirit.
Without the breath of God in our ministry, we do the work in our own strength. The burden God has given us for cities, teenagers, children, and the addicted who need Christ will trample us until there is nothing left for us to give to the world. We become as some say “burnt out”. In Isaiah, God calls this deadness, dry bones. God examines our hearts, churches and ministries. Are they only a resemblance of life or is the breath of God truly blowing?
Have you lost your intimacy with the Lord? Are you drained physically by your position in the Lord’s vast army? Are the lay workers on your ministry team or staff getting “burnt out’? Is your ministry stagnant or at a plateau? My friend it is time for the Lord to line up the bones!
It is time for the Lord to cover and protect His body. It is time for the four winds to blow on you, your church, and your ministry! Expect a sudden move of God to bring us out of our graves and truly stand as a vast army on the move defeating the enemy! My co- laborer in Christ, ask God to revive His Church, His people, your sheep and staff. God is faithful. Remember first God desires you, then He desires to work through you in the dreams and vision He has placed on your heart. Seek Him and ask for the breath of the Spirit, it is coming. Are you ready?
