Their love isn’t enough, it can’t make her whole…she gives up the fight…
She shoplifts at the mall and smoke lots of cigs…just wants to love on His daughter…no matter how bad…she quits going to classes and steals cars instead…just wants to love on His daughter…no matter how bad…she doesn’t wear enough clothes and hangs out in clubs…just wants to love His daughter…no matter how bad…she works in dark places and makes money off her looks…just wants to love on His daughter…no matter how bad…she attracts the wrong guys and won’t settle down…just wants to love on His daughter…no matter how bad…she sells people drugs and helps them get hooked…just wants to love on His daughter…no matter how bad…she fights when she’s mad and won’t let anyone close…just wants to love on His daughter…no matter how bad…she shoots dope in a crack house and drives her baby home high…just wants to love on His daughter…no matter how bad…
It won’t fill the void it can’t heal her hurts…she gives up the pain…
She fell to her knees and cried out to Him… just walk in His grace…she couldn’t have earned it…She came to Him broken and gave Him her life… just walk in His grace…she couldn’t have earned it…She sat in the cell and kept reading His book…just walk in His grace…she couldn’t have earned it…She left for the unknown and trusted in Him… just walk in His grace…she couldn’t have earned it…She finished her program and came home to her child… just walk in His grace…she couldn’t have earned it …She learned to parent her daughter and worked hard at her job…just walk in His grace…she couldn’t have earned it…She got her degree and started her masters…just walk in His grace…she couldn’t have earned it …She volunteers at the church and mentors young women…just walk in His grace…she couldn’t have earned it…She tells others of Him and teaches her daughter His word… just walk in His grace…she couldn’t have earned it…
His love is unending, His redemption was free…she lives in surrender…
She teaches in church but still gets harsh with her daughter… His love covers all…she still needs His mercy…She keeps her house clean but forgets family devotion… His love covers all…she still needs His mercy…She invites people to church but forgets to pray for her friends… His love covers all…she still needs His mercy …She says yes to His calling but turns her homework in late… His love covers all…she still needs His mercy …She gets to church early but doesn’t ask her neighbors to come… His love covers all…she still needs His mercy …She encourages the new woman but won’t make time for morning cuddles… His love covers all…she still needs His mercy …She prays “use our lives” but complains when it hurts… His love covers all…she still needs His mercy …She reads His word daily but struggles to forgive… His love covers all…she still needs His mercy …
