Another day or later
Don't worry! Just be happy
That was my philosophy
I used to delay my work
I dawdled or I deferred
With the trifles I bothered
but neglected the urgent
To do or not to do
That was the question
the fun and thrill of taking
the line of least resistance
Unfulfilled and dissatisfied
I painfully pondered over
The flaw in my character--
It marred, even hindered
Let me not boast of the work
postponed, shirked or undone
Let me press on with zeal
till the battles of life are won
Great needs around and abound
There's no room for apathy,
dilly dally or shilly shally
but to Christ I turn for help
Who will tell the untold neighbours?
They are yet to hear the good news
of our glorious living Saviour's
vicarious death over sin
Uphold me Lord I pray
In the struggles I face
Give me grace to plan and work
not to put off or default
