This life had gotten the best of her, who could she turn to that would understand that she was just so tried of everything that was going on in her life. She didn’t have much time to seek God’s face and felt cut off from Him. As the tears rolled down her face, she fell down on her knees to pray to God:
“Oh Heavenly Father,
I don’t know what to do. I feel so tried and want have rest. My day to day life is getting the best of me. Help me Lord. Please help me right now. I don’t know who else to seek but you. I love you Heavenly Father, I surrender myself to you completely. In the name of Jesus I place my life into your hands. Tell me Lord what I to do am. In the name of Jesus I pray, Amen.”
She laid in the floor of her kitchen weeping to the Lord, begging Him to restore her and revive her. When she had took the time to be quite so that the Lord could he speak the Lord spoke this to her:
“My daughter, I love you still. I want to get the glory out of your life. You have let the games of life rule your life. You have become to busy with the things of this world and have shut me out of your heart. I need you to surrender your heart, mind and soul to me at all times not just when things aren’t going well. Seek me for your rest. Seek me at all times for I am always here.”
Martha rose from the floor and began to praise the Lord for she knew if she just kept Him close that everything would be okay. In weeks to come Martha life began to become more simplified; whereas she delegated some of duties other people. She felt a new kind of peace that she had never felt before. This is not to say that Martha never had any troubles; it just means that with God she had peace in trouble times and left her worries with Him.
