In speaking of myself, I am a 39 year old aspiring and motivated freelance writer/poet in progress. I am also a 2005 hurricane Katrina survivor and a proud mother of a teenage daughter. In my love for writing, I have been actively pursuing a writing career ever since 2005. In my journey as a writer, I have had the overwhelming pleasure of writing numerous poems, magazine articles, greeting card verses, quotes, eight stories that have been converted into books, and much more. The writing that flows as a creativity of words from my heart relates to my personal life, lives of love ones, and just from life in general. I’ve written on such topics as: life, economy, happiness, peace, war, marriage, infidelity, cancer, spirituality, money, and much more.
