TRUST JESUS TODAY
Have you been redeemed by God's Holy lamb;
Are you a child of the King...the Great I Am?
Stand up and shout it so the world will know;
And go search for the lost both high and low.
Since their eyes are blind and they just can't see;
He'll shine His saving light through you and me.
When He finds that lost one He'll show them the way;
Turn their darkest night to the brightest day.
So, if you know Jesus,
My friend, you must be bold, stand up and shout!
The world needs to know what it's all about.
Gives joy and peace to the lonely and sad;
A special fam'ly like they've never had.
There's a soothing balm for those who are ill;
An empty cupboard He will quickly fill.
He'll easily break the prisoner's chains;
Take the poor man's losses and turn them to gains.
With faith and hope He will always replace,
Nagging fear and doubt and any disgrace.
So, shout from the housetops, "Jesus is Lord!"
"He died to save us", it says in His Word.
Such a great gift you can't keep to yourself,
Don't keep it inside - like it's in a box on the shelf.
Even though He knows we foolishly sin,
If we let Him fight our battles - He won't fail to win.
All of these blessings come wrapped up in love,
Sent to His children from His throne above.
