This is a sort of devotional but presented more as a short story. I deals with the Armor of God and the power of the Holy Spirit.
I strap on my belt of truth, as it holds the truth to me, and allows me to move freely, in the knowledge that the truth will not fall from me. My hands are free to hold onto other important things, since the truth is secured tightly around me.

I am coming, demons, I am a demon hunter. Fear the power within me.

My breastplate of righteousness is secured by my belt of truth. The two work hand in hand, for without the truth in my heart, I can never be righteous in Godís eyes.

I am coming, demons, I am a demon hunter. Fear the power within me.

When both are secured, I bend down and put on readiness that comes from the Gospel of Peace. It protects my feet as I prepare for our face-off. It gives me perfect peace regarding He who saved me and Him who lives within me. I am ready to face you, and I am ready to let Him fight for me.

I am coming, demons, I am a demon hunter. Fear the power within me.

I pick up my shield of faith and secure it to my forearm. I do not wish it to slip, for it will stop your attacks and your arrows with precision, not allowing me to realize the viciousness of the wounds they may yield, but instead, focusing on the one who walks with me. Death, it is but a sting and has been defeated by Him who sends me.

I am coming, demons, I am a demon hunter. Fear the power within me.

Next, I take up and place on my head the helmet of salvation. Without salvation, there would be no fight, for you would win, but with salvation, you already know the outcome of this battle. With salvation comes power that you canít win against, power that you canít face without fear.

I am coming, demons, I am a demon hunter. Fear the power within me.

Finally, I pick up my sword, which is the Word of God, and I take a few practice swings, knowing that even these practice swings make you cringe. I wipe it down, to make it shine with His glory and I search it for new nuggets of knowledge. This is the mightiest of weapons, one with which you will never be able to stand against. He has given me this one weapon and I will wield it with the knowledge that nothing can stand against it.

I am coming, demons, I am a demon hunter. Fear the power within me.

Fear the power of the Holy Spirit, demons, as I come for you. As I finally go on the offensive and place my knees to the ground. As I lift up my voice to stand in the gap for others, both the saved and the unsaved. I will come for you, demons, and I will win. I have the promise that He who is in me is greater than anything.
I have Jesus living within me and you cannot stand against Him. He is the power within me and I know you fear it, for you fear the truth. You fear the end, and you fear His judgment. I am coming, demons, I am a demon hunter. Fear the power within me.
