TRUST JESUS TODAY
This is a poem scribed by my mother. Looking for critique.
The colour of my love is the yellow of brightness, joy and confidence
That shows the marvels of the world
And makes me feel renewed
And so very excited to be able to
Experience living life to its fullest.
The colour of my love is the softer pink of acceptance
That shows I am loved by and for myself
With no fear of condemnation.
My love is the muted hues of blue and purple
For those days when I need the support
To make it through the tough times.
It is for those quiet moments when I need understanding
And a soft yet strength giving embrace.
My love is the fiery red of passion
That comes as two unite
And become one in heart and soul.
My love, above all else
Is all the colours of the rainbow
After the refreshing rains of spring
That bring the green of new life
And the hope for a greater tomorrow.
That is the colour of my love
And I thank Him
For being the Artist of my life.
