Sometimes we forget who we are. We forget the Maker of all, but He never forgets us.
Why can’t we get it?
When things come our way,
we only have one chance
to have a say in what becomes of our lives.
Most of us miss it.
So we just coast along...

Only when we open the door,
we’re raised from the depth of despair
Into the sunshine of Your love.
It warms us to the bone.
Thank You.
Our eyes are opened.
We see all the joys we have lost
but we do not stumble.
You lift us up. You lift us up!!
Then You show us all our future joys
and we are glad.
So we wait like the children we are.
Lead us, hold us, and love us.
Without You, there is only darkness,
Hold us in Your light.
