can we get it right. It shows that we can pray in earnest but at the same time our minds go wandering
Do you think that God gets tired
Of all we say and do?
Do you think someday he will give up
Not helping us get through?

Some laugh at his commandments
Break them all the time.
Outwardly they deny these things
But know within their mind.

Too bad they go on blindly
With numbness all around.
The things that God has built up
Man is tearing down.

I feel the end is coming
We’ll get our just rewards.
Now is the chance you have to take
It’s just one step forward.

God knows what you’re thinking
Just feel it in your soul.
He’ll take that shattered life of yours
Help you to make it whole.
