Feelings are the most complicated factor in our world as no two persons have the same feelings. Yes people will agree on certain points but there feelings regarding that point will be different even if it is the same feeling.
This is even the factor for experiencing life. Not two persons will have the same perspective of the same event. Isn’t that just amazing?
In the Bible different disciples tell the story of Jesus life, but although the story is the same each one is told different. Scientist calls this “vantage point”.
The reason why this happens is because we are living in a very “small” world. We can only see what is in front of us. And the media and other worldly factors places eye caps on us like cattle or horses so that we are unable to see a bigger picture.
And we as humans have this terrible thing where we cling to the world and our possessions. Do we really think we can take any of it with us when we go? Do we really think we can hide our sins or lies?
Why do we pretend to be something we are not? Why do we keep lying to ourselves?
The answers to all these questions are easy. We are human. We are allowed to make mistakes but we should be willing to repent and admit that we were wrong (And really mean it).
Why do we gather possessions? So that our children will be cared for after we are gone. Or is it to make our own life easier. Or even to show off to our friends. Whatever the reason the day the last breath pass our lips it would be all for nothing. It will go to the people who are left behind.
That is why the Bible says that poor people are the lucky one’s as they have what they need, but they still long for more. Rich people have more than they need and still they long for more. They are stingy to the point of madness where it comes to helping the people that work for them, but they will spend thousands even millions to impress and show how rich they are. They like to have parties, drive big cars, live in big houses and even give money to the church and charity. This is all done so that others see them; I have not heard it ever said that an amount was donated anonymous to a charity, church or school. This only happens in fiction.
What a grate world would it bee if we as humans actually really do what the Bible and God asked of us.
The first task that God bestowed on to man was in Genesis when he told Adam to look after the animals and tree and plants. Did or do we do this? Only a handful tries, and it is too little to late.
That is just one example there are hundreds more in the Bible. But we choose to ignore this or some of us do not even know this.
The fault in this is because over time people forgot or they choose not to teach this to their children. But it is never to late to break a cycle like this if we are willing to face the facts. Willing to change our lives.
I am not saying take all you have worked for and give it away, what I say is we can change the world by one random act of kindness toward others and animals a day. If everyone starts doing this the world can become a better place for all.
