Satan: Yes, why don’t you give up Carlie? You’re useless, worthless. It’s all just a waste of time. (Satan moves to stand behind the circle of God’s Word.â€
God: Carlie, what do you know about Satan? “And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.†(11Corinthians 11:14) Before you were saved, “Ye were of your father the Devil, and the lusts of your father ye did. Carlie: I don’t know…I mean, I know I was saved the summer I turned ten, but sometimes lately, I’[m so afraid.
God: “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.†(Isaiah 26:3) Who are you trusting, Carlie?
Carlie: I trusted and accepted you when I was ten. It was wonderful, but I am older now. Things are different somehow…more complicated, and sometimes confusing. My boyfriend, Aaron and I fight all the time.
Aaron: Carlie, grow up! Everybody’s doing it. You know how much I love you and I want to prove it, but you Little Miss Morality…..

God: “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love and of a sound mind.†(!! Timothy 1:7) Carlie, where is the spirit of fear coming from? “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion walketh about seeking whom he may devour†1 Peter 5:8)
Carlie: Where is it coming from? I feel trapped with no way out. Doomed…My body bound…Unable to move.

God: “Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.†(Ephesians 6:11)
Carlie: Yes, the armor Lord. (Carlie bows her head to pray, and puts on the armor of God) I put on the helmet of salvation, the breastplate of righteousness, the belt of truth, the gospel shoes of peace, the shield of faith, and the sword of the spirit; praising and thanking you (Carlie looks up and sees God, who has been standing with hand outstretched to her. She takes his hand and stands to her feet, dropping all signs of darkness and is now in ordinary clothing) for this protection against Satan, the world and my old nature.
Aaron: (Speaking directly to Carlie) Carlie, there you are. I just stopped by to tell you about the party I’m having tonight at my house. Anyone who is anyone will be there. It starts at 7:30 and ends when the last wasted body passes out. My parents will be gone for the whole weekend, so you can spend the nights with me. Just tell your parent’s you’ll be staying at Sara’s. Pretty cool, hug? I’ve got it all figured out.
Carlie: Well…..Aaron
God: “â€Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and the power of his might.†(Ephesians 6:12)
Carlie: No Aaron…not anymore! I’m sorry, but we have to break up.
Aaron: What’s going on here?
Carlie: Wait Aaron, let me finish. I know why I’ve been so unhappy lately…
Aaron Hey look, I can tell you why. I’ve been telling you that you need to lighten up. Don’t be so uptight all the time. I’m glad you’ve finally come to your senses. This party is just what you need.
Carlie: Aaron, I’m trying to tell you something! I’ve been leading a double life. There’s something you don’t know about me, and maybe you won’t understand…
God “Humble yourself in the sight of the Lord and he shall lift you up.†(James 4:10)
Carlie: Aaron, I am a Christian. At age 10 I accepted Jesus as my Savior and I promised to live a life for Him. I’m not going to your party, because I don’t want to. I’ve been trying to hold on to you by doing things I know are wrong, and I’m not afraid anymore.
Aaron: So what are you saying? You’re not coming to the party? No big deal; there will be other parties.
God’s Word #8: In whom the god of this world hat blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of
Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.†(!! Corinthians 4:4)
Carlie: No, Aaron!! Listen to me!! I am saying that it is over between us, and I want you to leave , NOW!
Aaron: O.K., I’m leaving, but I’ll call tomorrow, and if your attitude hasn’t changed, it’s over between us!
Carlie: (Shaking her head in disbelief at how dense Aaron is) And I was afraid of loosing HIM? What was I thinking?
Sara†Hey Carlie, what’s up? I just saw Aaron on my way here, and he said you aren’t coming to the party. He’s joking, right?
God: “For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he; Eat and drink, saith he to thee: ;but his heart is not with thee. (Proverbs 23:7)
Carlie: No Sara, it’s no joke. I broke up with Aaron, and no, I am not going to this or any other party. You and I are suppose to be Christians, Sara.
Sara: Well, sue, Carlie, but what’s that got to do with Aaron and the party?
Carlie: Everything Sara. You’[re my best friend, and I’m worried about you. Are you really happy drinking and taking drugs?
Sara: Well, yeah…sometimes…Well at least when I’m high I’m happy. Look, I don’t want to be the geek at school. Do you? I’m finally part of the in crowd. I know what you are saying…I feel guilty too…sometimes, but it’s the price we pay for popularity.
God’s Word #9: “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.†(Galatians 6:7) “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.†(Revelation 12:11)
Carlie: So Sara, guilt is the price you pay for popularity? What about the price Christ paid for our salvation?
Satan: Smart move Carlie. Now you’ve lost both Aaron and Sara! You had it all, but now you blew it. You really are a looser! Why don’t you end it all now? Your life is not worth living! Go on Carlie, do it! End it NOW!
Carlie: No Satan! NO MORE! “Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day thou wast created, til iniquity was found in thee.†(Ezekiel 28:15) “How art fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of morning! How art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nation; for thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven. I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.†(Isaiah 14:12-14) No Satan. I know where you stand with God. In the Name of Jesus Christ, I command you to flee!! (Carlie walks forward and backs Satan away and he flees on her command. She picks up a hand mirror and looking at herself) “I will praise thee, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvelous are thy works; and that my soul knowest right well.†(Psalm 139:14)
