Interesting thought, I just came across this very interesting verse.
“And ye shall not walk in the manners of the nation, which I cast out before you: for they committed all these things, and therefore I abhorred them.”
Leviticus 20:23
It seems God may in fact hate people. But after thinking over this verse and comparing it to other verses, I believe God may hate groups of people, so God may not hate an individual gay but he does seem to hate the gay nation, or the gay community in general. I think this means God does not only judge us as individuals he also judges us as groups, even though he does not hate the individual he will hate and curse the group.
So we should be very careful how close we stand to non-believing friends. Because God may charge us with being a member of their group. That makes sense when you think about it, if you are protected by a police officer and that police officer is also known to abuse certain criminals deserving or otherwise, then you would be responsible for that abuse because if there were no police officers their would be no police brutality, so God may judge you as a member of a group that he may in fact hate because you are associated with them. Just a thought.

Interesting theory, Nishaun, but the Bible says that "every one of us shall give account of himself to God." (Romans 14:12) A person cannot be responsible for what other people do, only him/her self. We can have workmates who are adulterers, fornicators etc. We are surrounded by sinners and cannot avoid contact with them. Jesus tells us to he a light in the world. Of course we are not to be close "buddies" with sinners, but are to tell them of the forgiveness and new life they can have through Jesus' blood.
