Handing out the trials of time
that will never change.
Stories of time spent
always rearranged.
Is there such a thing
as the truth in time passed?
Erasing bad days entirely
and making good days last.
It’s not so bad
for the few days that you do.
Unless they equal the life
in the years you’ve already lived through.
How often we’ve forgotten
the evils of our lies.
How easy to fill the void
with the ‘happiness’ of life.
Silly humans that we are,
living only in the world we create.
While the time we can’t relive,
is our only means of escape.
