Through this life, in pleasure or pain,
His grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain.
Let us cast off the works of darkness, let us put on the armour of light,
By the power of God, by the armour of righteousness, on the left hand and on the right.
For the disciple is not above his master, nor the servant above his Lord,
For unto death hath his blood been poured.
For ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you to bring forth fruit and the fruit should remain,
That whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father, He may give it to you in my name.
For me to live in Christ and to die is gain,
Unto the resurrection of the dead I might attain.
Nothing will be impossible, with the faith of a mustard seed;
God will, according to his riches, supply every need.
Has the rain a Father, who has begotten the drops of dew?
For many be called, but the chosen are few.
Trust in the Lord and to your own understanding do not lean,
For faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
Admonish the idlers, encourage the fainthearted, help the weak - be patient with them all.
For all have sinned and by the grace of God were we saved through His merciful call.
Pray that you may not enter into temptation; the spirit is indeed willing, but the flesh is weak.
Be among the inheritors of the earth; be ye the blessed meek.
In the body of his flesh through death, to present you Holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight -
My beloved, in whom my soul is well pleased,
You have kept the faith, you have finished your course, you have fought a good fight.
