Alone but not forsaken
ALONE BUT NOT FORSAKEN
Why did he leave me all alone?
Here in this world of unseen people
He promised his love to me until death do us part
Now I have become a weak silent weeper
Was it all my fault, what did I do, what did I say?
Why does he not love me?
Please someone help me to see
I give up; I must hide from me
I must cover my face with shame
Is it only I who can take all the blame
Where can I run too?
If my own husband doesnít want me
Who would want me now?
What can I give, what can I take, what can I allow?
I must cry out to you My Father, ďAbba, where are youĒ?
I cannot see you
Donít leave me
Am I walking though this valley all alone?
Please talk to me
Please donít hide your face from me
Donít let me take one step without you
Because if I do, Iím doomed
Take my hand, Father, forgive me
Donít let me be like Eve
Destined to wander the earth
And till the soil of my own sins
Please forgive me and make me whole within
I feel it, Oh God, I feel the loneliness
I am scared, are you there?
Donít leave me
Youíve been with me for so many years
Are you gone?
Pull me from this valley, Father
Donít leave me here all alone
I feel the tears
Dripping, splashing, hitting the ground,
Making big roaring sounds,
Like the ocean roaring in a seashell
Loud, really loud
I can feel that all is not well.
Is it only I who can tell?
I am only human, mortal, and woman, all female
Donít let me perish in this sea of souls
My heart cries out to you Oh Lord
I feel it screaming with the tears of thousands of women
Women who need love and are alone,
Forsaken in the world
Caring for their children
No daddy, no shelter, no food, no clothes,
All their hope is gone
We wander the road of life
Totally alone, forever in the valley of despair
Lift us up, My Father
Lift us higher and higher
Until we see you Father, until we can see you eye to eye
Let us look upon your face and see
Mercy come knocking, and let us answer the door
Now, there you are my Father,
In the middle of the night
I am awakened by the sounds of you listening
To my even breathing of your breath of life
You are such a beautiful sight
I am being lifted up,
The shades of purple unfold and separate into layers of soft feathers
I am so happy, totally speechless, what can I say?
For now I know that
Hope eternal will spring forth like the shades of morning light on a spring day.
It is, oh so good, My Father, it is all so right
We become a pair
The gentle winds blow through my hair
As the cool breeze penetrates every fiber of my being
Once again, I can see you,
Please Precious Jesus, make me brand new
The straight and narrow path looms ahead
I see a table spread
With all the jewels of love and kindness and lots of forgiveness
As I bend my knee
I am cleansed and set free
I am forgiven,
The valley forms a bridge to the top of the mountain
Now we walk hand in hand toward the top
Along the narrow path that leads from earth to heaven
He presents me to his Father clean and clothed with the helmet of salvation
Blood bought from the very first day of creation
Now I am drinking from the water of life, the eternal flowing fountain
all my sins are gone, thrown into a sea of forgetfulness
never to be remembered again!
ďWhat can wash away my sins, nothing but the blood of JesusĒ?
I thank you My Father for letting me be a daughter of the Cross.
I am resting in your arms, safe from all alarms or anything that might harm!

For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
