I had descended into the bowel
Of the co-companion
Of my sanity
I come here now to thank thee
For descending also with me,
Though the affliction severe
Your Holy Presence abiding,
Blackness now lifting
The shade though not yet fully raised
Is high enough for light to seep in,
And once again as you promised
Light can never be extinguished by
Darkness,
