Twas the night before Christmas
As I sat in despair
I thought about Jesus
And I wondered who cared
All the people out shopping
Not having a clue
I prayed to my savior
Lord what do I do?
The stores use your name
To ring up a sale
They sing about santa
While forgetting the nails
You came down from Heaven
To be raised as a man
A ransom for sins
An innocent lamb
You’re the reason for living
For you gave up your life
But we listen for sleigh bells
As we sing silent night
An X takes the place
Of the name of all names
We tell stories of snowmen
And reindeer games
Our wish list grows larger
For things we don’t need
As the homeless are dying
We feed on our greed
What has this world come to?
Lord what can I do
We say merry Christmas
But forget about you.
If you died today, are you absolutely certain that you would go to heaven? You can be! TRUST JESUS NOW
