Through times of trouble and great distress
We quickly forget in whom we can rest
We struggle and ponder the thoughts in our head
But take refuge in God’ Word, great things are said
In the book of Philippians, 4:4-9, 13, and 19
Think of the good things and remember what we’ve seen
As I flip through its pages, I have come to know
That the Holy Bible is alive, and with it good seeds I sow
Troubles that seem great are really quite small
When was the last time you looked at people in a mall?
Especially around Christmas, most, all they can see
That it’s a holiday where they get a gift under a tree
Look for opportunities to bring somebody joy
That’s what Jesus did, and not for a material toy
God is in control, He is forever the same
I still can’t get over it, He knows me by name!!!
Hairs numbered on my head, not just how many
Stars are all named, is that so uncanny?
The earth and heavens, created, He
Why should we worry and have anxiety
