Prov 31:10-39 The virtuous woman is rare, not common and you have to search for her. She is valuable, trustworthy and her husband trusts her and she will do him good. Verse 13-19 She is busy doing her work. She is industrious, organized and prepares ahead of time. She is an investor and probably uses store coupons when she goes shopping to save money. The virtuous woman gives to the needy and poor because she is a good investor and her finances are in order. She takes care of her family and they are nicely clothed.
Verse 26 She speaks wisdom and kindness and this is why people like to be around her. She is not idle or lazy and she is not addicted to TV soap operas. Her husband praises her always. This woman fears the Lord and puts God first!!!
World view meaning of mother : A female that gives birth. Biblical view meaning of mother: The bond of the family. The Lords gives a blessing to those that honor their mother and father. God says that we will live long and things will go well with us when we honor our parents and bless them.
Genesis 3:20 Eve was the mother of all living She was a wife FIRST then she was a mother.
Genesis 2:15, 22 Adam had a job BEFORE he got a wife. Single men are to get a job FIRST then a wife. Single women are to get a husband with a GOOD job BEFORE they get a baby. A man who really loves a woman will not want sex before marriage. He will work two jobs to take care of his wife and family.
Genesis 29:20 Jacob worked SEVEN years for Rachel to be his wife because he loved her. Verse 30 Jacob worked another SEVEN years for Rachel again. He ended up working fourteen years for his father-in-law to get Rachel for his wife. This was all because of the love Jacob had for her.
Genesis 2:21-23 Adam was the FIRST mother because Eve came from his rib. Eve was made from Adam. This was the first and last time man gave birth. God put a Man and a Woman together as a married couple. God didnít put a Man and a Man or a Chuck and a Steve together. God had Adam and Eve.
Verse 24 A man leaves his father and mother and cleaves to his wife. They two shall be one flesh. The man is the one who leaves his parents to marry his wife and take the place of her father as the one who takes care of her. The husband takes the role of the protector and the provider of this woman. She doesnít leave but gets a new protector instead. Her husband is the caretaker. The husband is he one who gets up to answer the door. The husband is the one who gets up out of bed at night when a noise is heard. He is the husband and head of the union. This is because Adam was made first.
Eph 6:2-3 We must honor our father and mother. It will go well with us and we will live long. Going well with us means that our bills are all paid off and we have extra money to share with the poor and needy. God will put us at the right place at the right time and BLESS US!!
We will be strong in our body, get promoted at work, start our own business and things will go well with us.
Deut 5:16 Honor our father and mother and God will prolong our days and things go well with us. This is when we walk in Jesus, obey God, do as He commands, stay in the Word, have a relationship with God the Father and Jesus Christ his Son andÖÖ.THINGS WILL GO WELL WITH US !!!
II Tim 3:1-2 One of the signs of the last days is when people are disobedient to their parents. Verse 8 Jan-nes and Ja-mbres are the two priests that withstood Moses and resisted the truth. They went against their spiritual leader and were disobedient to Moses. II Tim 4:3-5 This is happening now in America with itís disobedience to God and the Pastors that He has put over us. Verse 16-17 We are commanded to obey and submit ourselves to the spiritual leaders that God places over us.
Honor our father and mother----we will prolong our days and have things go well with us.
Honor those which God has put over us (pastors, teachers, police, bosses) --- we will live long and have things go well with us.
