" How was your dinner?" he asked as he sat down next to her.
" Fine" she replied as she closed her bible. " The lamb chops and mint jelly were very good".
" I don't know much about the bible" he said with a frown as he looked around the room. " I would like to learn more".
She looked at her watch. " Why don't we meet on the deck in twenty minutes".
" Sure" David replied as he stood up and began to walk back to where his mother was. " I'm sure the moonlight is pretty tonight".
David escorted his mother back to her room. " I'm going up to the deck to talk to Charlene".
" Ok, I'll see you in the morning" she replied as she smiled and closed her door.
