A train of grand old hymns.
I’ll tarry at Amazing Grace
Enjoying the sweet sound.
I ‘ll seek the city of Bethlehem,
Where the Babe lay in a manger.
‘Twas He who brought joy to the world
As heaven and nature sang.
I’ll linger in the love of God,
So measureless and strong.
It will forevermore endure
Until it takes me home.
I’ll visit the Old Rugged Cross
And ponder the suffering and shame,
Which my dear Savior suffered there
For sinners everywhere.
I’ll be a pilgrim in the land
Where Great Jehovah guides.
I may be weak, but He is strong.
He’ll hold me with His hand.
I love to tell the story
As train wheels roll along
Of Jesus and His glory,
And also of His love.
When we all get to heaven,
How grand will be that day.
And then in the sweet by and by,
There, I’ll see Jesus’ face.
