It’s not just my imagination
The call is written in His Word
And should often be heard
From the pulpit
And our godly friends
The challenge never ends
The road to sanctification
Began with my salvation
And continues every day
Especially when we pray
On the road to sanctification
I obtain an education
On what to do
And what to say
My progress makes the Father smile
On the next mile
of my journey
On this road to sanctification
I come across road blocks
that rock
My trip
They try to trip
Me up
But I sup
On his Word
My road to sanctification
Can be affected by magnification
Do I magnify the world
Or the Lord
The road to sanctification
Can be derailed by the accusation
Of the Enemy
So what if the road to sanctification
Stalls in a swamp of stagnation?
