We wondered if ever we would know.
What he meant.
But then God sent.
His son.
Through me.
How could it be?
Simeon laid his hand on my baby son‘s head.
And with a warning voice, he said
A sword will pierce your own soul**
For years, I pondered this in my heart.
Wondering when the piercing would start.
And then they arrest my son
As I watch them pierce his feet
And his hands.
And I realize how no one understands.
What’s really happening
The piercing predicted so long ago.
Now comes and leaves in my heart a hole
Will I ever be whole
Again
My son nailed on a cross.
What a loss
Or was it
Theee days later, the truth is revealed.
When by my son‘s rising.
Satan‘s fate was sealed
And the truth of Isaiah’s words
Now becomes clear
Salvation and healing now are here
