Feels like it's trash
Any self compliments turn to ash
In my mouth
My self esteem heads straight south
Yet God has called me
Worthy
Oh no another mistake
What will it take to do this right
I feel so far
From being bright
Yet God has called me
Worthy
Why doesn't my job
Match my degree
What can I do
To finally be free
Of having failed
That the ship of success has sailed
Without me
Will I never be free?
Yet God has called me
Worthy
I have so many dreams
But lately it seems
That it's just too late
Success didn't wait
For me
I'm hard on myself
Put my dreams on a shelf
Yet God has called me
Worthy
I look at a painting
And I think it looks funny
But someone paid
A lot of money
For it
That person declared that painting
Worthy
I was bought
With the highest price
Jesus’ blood and sacrifice
God has called me
worthy
