Her heart was breaking
Because of her childless womb
Because of the tomb
Of her dead dreams
Of ever being a mother
But God almighty had another
Plan for Hanna
God almighty had a special child
Chosen for this heartbroken woman
Samuel prophet
Mighty in deed and power
Born for a special hour
For this reason
For the season
Of the mighty prophets
Naomi felt her heart
Was breaking apart
As these words came out of her mouth
“God almighty dealt me a bitter blow
And so now I go
Back to Bethlehem alone
Except for my son’s widow Ruth”
But here’s the truth
God used Ruth
To give Naomi
A kinsman redeemer
She had had no dream her
future would be so bright
For God almighty had treated her right
When evil seems to be winning
And my world is spinning
Out of control
Almighty God
Great power
Over every hour
No task too great
No task too small
God almighty
Can handle it all
