God has counted each one that was there.
As you find yourself shorter with age,
God’s still with you through every stage.
When the ache in your joints makes your cry,
And the chill in your bones makes you sigh,
Just rejoice for no pain in “That Day”
When your tears will be all wiped away.
For the ones gone ahead, don’t be sad.
You will see them again and be glad.
Then together, you’ll God glorify
In that wonderful "Sweet By and By."
If your vision’s not perfectly clear,
And you’re wishing that you could still hear,
Or your recall’s not good, don’t lament—
You’ve still blessings the good Lord has sent.
Do not worry for things you have done,
But rejoice for the victory He won.
When your time here on earth will have passed,
You will see your dear Savior at last.
