as God requires,
the first commandment with promise,
to live a long life on the earth.
We honor the Sabbath
to keep it holy,
to rest, as God gave example,
and to offer Him our praise.
We honor school graduates
for their years of study
and their determination
to finish the course.
We honor service members
for their sense of duty
and the sacrifices they make
in defense of our nation.
We honor our leaders,
in respect for their offices,
with appreciation for what they do
on behalf of those they represent.
We honor individuals
who have made great achievements
in various fields of service
in benefit to mankind.
We honor one another,
being kindly affectionate
with brotherly love,
as the Bible teaches us.
We honor our God,
Creator of all things,
For His power, His mercy, His grace,
And His deep, deep love for us.
