With all of my quirks
God made me
He knows how everything works
God made two genders
People who say there are multiple genders
Are such pretenders
God made two genders
But we’re not all blenders
Making two homogenized groups
Women aren’t all the same
Who takes the blame
Of lumping us all together
Each woman unique in her own way
Playing the role God created her to play
We will not let spoilers sway
That fact
Or let the extremist act
To destroy our value
I’m no expert on men
On that my brother would agree
But this I do know
When a man accepts who God made him to be
That’s the only way he’ll truly be free
When a hurting heart
Denies his or her gender
We must always be tender
To these broken ones
God made two genders
But a harsh word hinders
God’s healing message
While God made just two genders
We must always be menders
Of the wounded broken heart
Let the healing start!
God made two genders
That truth never hinders
Sharing the love
That comes from above
But we must never approve a lie
It’s not love
To agree with a lie
It’s not love
To let absolutes die
God made two genders
No additions allowed
And when it comes to genders
Three (or more!) is a crowd
Each of us is God’s own treasure
When we fulfill our roles
It gives Him such pleasure
God made me
He knows me in and out
He says “This is my creation
And I want to shout
With pride
“May she never hide
The beautiful woman
I created her to be”
God made me and
God made you
Whether a man
Or a woman
We’re all His creation
And that calls for a celebration!
God made us!
So let’s stop the fuss
And live as God created us to be
Only then we will truly be free.
