To wake a sleeping world.
With their songs, they are thanking God,
Their feathers all unfurled.
While little brooks go babbling
And bubbling on their way,
Continue they, adoring Him.
They’re heard throughout the day.
The waves of oceans rhythmically
Pound good news to the shore.
They never cease at any time.
They tell it evermore.
Light breezes whistle in accord
As they go through the trees,
While gale winds shrill with wonderment
And bend trees to their knees.
The earth and waters hum along
With gratitude to Him,
And insects, fish, and animals
Raise voices from within.
The rain that patters here and there,
God’s goodness to them all,
Reminds them He is always near.
He’ll hear them when they call.
I join with them to harmonize
And offer hymns of praise
To God for all His mighty works
And for His wondrous ways.

Your poem made me want to rise up and sing "Hallelujah! Hallelujah!" Your meter, rhyme and inclusion of the various parts of the earth rising up to worship the one true God were on target. What a great poem of praise!
