Then, I’ll give it a whirl,
Or if you need some editing,
You’ll find that I’m your girl.
You can count me in.
If it’s to read well-written books,
Where authors make words dance,
With characters, both strong and good,
Within a sweet romance,
You can count me in.
If it’s to be with family
For special days and such,
To feel the love among us there,
Then, thank you very much.
You can count me in.
If it’s to visit with good friends,
The ones who share my heart,
To laugh and talk and have good fun,
I’m with you from the start.
You can count me in.
If it’s to love the Lord my God,
To read His Word and pray,
To demonstrate His love to all
As He shows me the way,
You can count me in.
If it’s to gossip, cheat, and lie,
And other things as bad,
Or be unkind to anyone,
These make my Father sad.
You’ll have to count me out
