With Your mighty holy love
Set my heart aflame
With Your power from above

I’ve let it grow too cold
I need to sit and read Your word
Its truth never grows old.
Set my heart aflame, Lord,

I’ve let it dwindle
Spending time on my kindle
Instead of time with You
Oh Lord that’s so true
As I pondered
How I’ve wandered
Far from the early fire
Lord, set my heart aflame
Clear life’s tinder
So it will not hinder
My walk with you

Like when You first came in my heart
I know You’ll set my heart aflame
For You never will depart
From me.
The devil is no match
When we put our armor on
But he reaches out to latch
His talons to pull our passions down

When I am following You close behind
I’ll never be the same
The world may try
to snuff that fire out
But it never will succeed
Of that I have no doubt.

Let my heart blaze forth for You.
